Celebration of Candlemas in Music and Prayer

St. Mark's choir, with the assistance of a few friends, gave a lovely presentation of
"Candlemas in Music and Prayer" on the evening of Sunday, 31st January 2016. This candlelit
event was greatly enjoyed by all in attendance. A retiring collection added some
$800 to the Stained Glass Window Fund.

Christmas Tree Festival & Bake Sale 2015
St. Mark's held another successful Christmas Tree Festival on the
weekend of 12th/13th December 2015. Christmas Trees and Wreaths
were decorated by various civic groups and there was an 'Open Church'
from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on the Saturday with a Bake Sale, Soup "N"
Roll lunch and musical entertainment throughout the day.
A good time was had by all!

St. Mark's Family Camp 2015
St. Mark's families and members enjoyed a weekend camp on Grace Island at the end of
September. Despite the dubious weather, wind and rain, the overnight camp was a huge
success with lots of fun, games and activities for the youngsters and adults alike. The families
were joined on Sunday morning for worship service and an excellent pot-luck lunch.

The Changing of the Guard
On Wednesday, 10th April 2013 St. Marks rejoiced in the Induction of The Revd.
Musawenkosi (Musa) Daba as our new Priest-in-Charge. We welcome Fr. Musa,
his wife Levidia and their daughter Jessie as our new first family. Click here for
the story of this "changing of the guard" and click "Gallery" to view photos.
